The wait is finally over.
After a long journey, the first attempt to produce a stu-dent publication finally came. The editorial staff worked for five months just to produce a school paper with matched effort, time and perseverance. Undeniably, it is not easy to create a student publication but with the help of the advisers and with great cooperation among mem-bers of the editorial staff, the long wait was finally over and the silence had been broken.
For many years, The Fisher Valley College does not have its
school organ, maybe because of the fact that it is not a facile substance
to deal with. There are innumerable things that you need to bequeath;
your time, your full commitment, your obligations and your ability to
create gratifying articles about the contrivances that happen daily on
the four corners of the school.
The Living Water (TLW), just like any other student publications in other universities and colleges, will ?serve as the utterance of the students.? As campus journalists, our aim is to promote the growth and development of the freedom of the press at the campus level as enshrined in Republic Act No. 7079, otherwise known as the Campus Journalism Act of 1991. This is a stepping stone for the students to develop their knacks in inscribe aspect. Our national hero once said, ?When you are bombarded with several issues, either positive or negative, just get a piece of paper, hold your pen, write something and post it to be viewed by others.? Just like the Living Water Who gives life to those who ask for it, TLW will also give life to the entire TFVC community by bringing them news and insights that are vital to the survival and development of an academic institution. It is essential to maintain the unity of the group, and most importantly, the rapport that exists between the advisers and the writers. No matter how hard it is, it is still possible to continue creating a student publication that will nurture the skills of the students, and to abreast them with enough information.
